Relevant Website Traffic … in 24 Hours: Was KeyThing Marketing Crazy?

During the last week of February, the company began releasing its revolutionary tools that make it easy, fast and affordable for a small business, independent professional or SOHO owner to add streaming video to their websites.
As with most marketers who are releasing a new product, the company was searching for a unique, high value bonus to offer a customer who purchases its video services.
KeyThing's CTO, Andy Stetzinger, had a better idea. The following took place between 9AM and 11AM. Half a dozen concepts were reduced to one and a previously dormant domain was selected for use. Programming began. The product, called LinkPlan helps a business owner build relevant traffic to his website by increasing the size of the Internet footprint of any website it runs on.
The following took place between 11AM and 2PM. The programmers, in developing the code for LinkPlan had the system's URL indexer, Meta tag and site crawlers working. The development began for site indexing. The marketing team was assembled.
The following took place between 2PM and 5PM. Marketing decided on a direction for the site copy. Graphics had nearly completed a user interface for the http://www.LinkPlan.net site.
The following took place between 5PM and 9PM. The programmers completed the five functions of LinkPlan and the user interface was installed. Writing site copy was in process. Several sites were indexed as basic testing was conducted.
The following took place between 9PM and 11PM. Copy for the site was completed and added to the Linkplan.net site. The programmers waited for a call from the shopping cart vendor to clarify one question. The project was nearing completion with 10 hours to go…
The following took place between 11pm and 6am. With the product working, and only the upgrade function to complete - the programmers, marketing and graphics teams called it a night.
The following took place between 6am and 9am. The teams reassembled, indexed some additional sites for testing, installed the upgrade process and began celebrating. In just 24 hours, the KeyThing 24 Challenge had been met and our heroes slipped away to await the next major opportunity to help their customers successfully market their business and become more profitable!
Businesses using LinkPlan will benefit from its searchable URL indexer, which crawls the websites and places them into appropriate categories for easy searching.
